Brewster graduated from UCLA and headed right into law school, all while keeping his sports career in full swing. Volleyball is his true passion, but he also knows that a professional career in volleyball won't last forever. Smart stud!

Brewster is a self-proclaimed nerd who loves Harry Potter, Star Wars, anything Marvel, politics, and even Jeopardy. He is a smarty pants and competed in Academic Decathlon.

Brewster represented Team USA at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. He took part in the AVP Tour in the summer of 2022 and within months, qualified for Pro Series tournaments, improving his results. It was during that time that he fell in love with his teammate, Kyle Friend. While they were playing in Australia, Tim told Kyle how he felt. Kyle quickly responded that he felt the same. The two have been a couple ever since. No, we aren't jealous at all! Sigh. They shared their relationship in Volleyball Magazine.

Brewster was attracted to Friend's confidence in being an out volleyball player. He credits his boyfriend for helping him with his internal struggles, being raised in a conservative Catholic background.

We love that they have been the poster relationship for queer representation in sports. Queer athletes continue to come out in many sports genres, and the number increases every year. We've come a long way!
