Nicholas Alexander Chavez Is Simply Divine

Okay y'all, can we talk about Nicholas Alexander Chavez for just a gosh darn minute?

Full transparency, yer boy Hank here isn't the most fluent in social media speak. I'm generally aware of some things but being fully immersed in SM (giggety!) I am not. Usually what happens is I come across (GIGGETY!) a tv show or movie, see an actor that sticks out and maybe I'll check him out elsewhere. This is the case with Nicholas Alexander Chavez.

I watched season one of Ryan Murphy's detective horrorshow thriller Diabolique and really liked it. It was like a season of American Horror Story...a good one!...that we haven't seen in a few years. Hey, c'mon. Admit it. If you've still been watching it, "Delicate" was a disaster! Anyway, Chavez plays a super sexy priest with super radical ideas about how to rehabilitate the Catholic church, get younger people's butts into the pews, and also maybe bangs the hell out of a nun for good measure.

Oh yeah, he also might get crucified a wee tiny bit. OH, and the priest is also into self-flagellation with a particularly nasty barbed flogger.

Apparently, while he was on the set filming, he made a little video of himself dancing to Charli xcx's "Apple." And needless to say, it raised some eyebrows and ire. It's also raising a few body parts, if I may say so!

Because his contribution to "BRAT Summer" takes place in front of a "Last Supper" tableau comprised of corpses of sex workers, a pivotal scene from Diabolique, the instantly and fervently religious all over the internet felt the need to clap back.

Here's what kills me. People think he put this together specifically to create this video. That he got actors and prop corpses and a cross and the space and shoved spears through their faces and spent all that money on professional makeup design...for a less-than one minute video. People...it's all part of a tv show and he relaxed in some down time by having some fun! Some sexy, gory fun!
