New trailer alert! The trailer for the highly anticipated Nosferatu dropped. This is a direct remake of the 1922 classic vampire film. The redo movie promises fantastic horror vibes with a stellar cast that includes Willem Dafoe, Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Another trailer dropped this week. Brandy will headline A24’s new horror film, The Front Room. In the film, Brandy has to deal with a racist, ultra-religious stepmom. A24 has become the leading studio for artistic horror films so this will probably be another hit for them.

Spaceballs 2 is officially underway. Mel Brooks will produce and Josh Gad will star and is part of the writing team. The movie is being produced under Amazon.

Jack Nicholson's 1974 Chinatown is getting a prequel series at Netflix. Original writer Robert Towne joins director David Fincher to bring it to life. This comes 50 years after the original film.

Critic reactions are in for A Quiet Place: Day One and…it’s a hit! They say this movie is bigger, louder, and scarier with tons of monster activity. This bumps up the franchise's other films that were quieter and more subtle in their approach.

Forrest Gump is getting a bit of a reunion as film leads Tom Hanks and Robin Wright rejoin director Robert Zemeckis and Gump writer Eric Roth for Here, a generation-spanning family drama.

Legally Blonde 3 is still in development and it was announced that there is a prequel movie, Elle, that will be coming out in 2025. Hot dog, anyone?

Lethal Weapon 5 is on its way, Mel Gibson is directing. The last Lethal Weapon film, came out in 1998. Not sure if audiences are still interested in the franchise.

Sony is looking into developing a St. Elmo’s Fire sequel. This film was a quintessential 80s film and helped form what has become The Brat Pack. This will not be a reboot, but a direct sequel. This would be a huge feat getting Jonathan McCarthy, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, and Mare Winningham all back together.

Inside Out 2 continues to kick butt at the box office. It hit another record for its second weekend in theaters and still has more weeks to play out. Looks like family movies are back in business!

Looks like Edge of Tomorrow 2 is closer to happening. Tom Cruise just signed a deal with Warner Bros and the studio is eager for a sequel. The original movie had a lackluster box office but gained a following once it hit streaming. It’s a great film and he and Emily Blunt have good chemistry.

The horror film M3GAN was a hit, and the doll’s dancing sequence made it a viral sensation. The film is not only getting a sequel but is getting a spinoff titled Soulm8te which will be a throwback to 90s horror films with an AI theme thrown in.

On the day of the 40^th anniversary of the original Karate Kid film, star Ralph Maccio shared that filming for the new big-screen movie has wrapped. He will reprise his role as Daniel LaRusso and Jackie Chan will play Mr. Han.
