These themes play with the ideas of hyper-masculinity as displayed by muscle size or even butt and crotch sizes, even to imaginary proportions. We, as the gay culture, tend to sexualize and celebrate muscled men and even if we say we are moving to a body-positive culture, these types of bodies are still what we see on the majority of Pride floats and as go-go dancers.
