Reece Scott: His Take on the Industry

Right before the weekend, Carnal Media proudly announced the arrival of its newest Exclusive talent, Reece Scott, to its roster of elite stars. This Wisconsin native and youngest of 13 was your hot, small-town youngin' who loved football and was a gymnast in school. He worked in corporate travel for 15 years while working in massage and cosmetology. He has since made Texas his home and entered the adult digital world last year.

He's already made a big splash in the adult world and garnered a lot of attention for his Gaycest debut in Cruising. Now that is a full exclusive at Carnal, we will be seeing a lot more of him doing what he does so well. We chatted with Reece about his take on the industry, working with Carnal, and fans' obsession with intergenerational content.

How did you end up getting into the adult industry?

I’m a very sexual guy and I’m a bit of an exhibitionist. There was just never a good time to try this when I was younger. But now that I’m single, older, and self-employed, I thought I’d give my dream a shot. A friend sent some photos to Carnal Media. They seem to have a lot of intergenerational videos, so we thought Carnal would be a good fit.

What do you wish you would have known before starting in the adult world?

The only thing that can think of is, had I known how rewarding and fun it was going to be, I would’ve started sooner. I’m having the time of my life!!

What do you think the fascination between the older/younger relationship in porn is?

Older/younger or intergenerational is HOT for many reasons. Older men have more experience to offer so they most likely can show the younger guy more exciting and fun things. While younger men are youthful and they have the ability to make older men feel younger. I’m attracted to youth because I like to show them how wonderful sex can be. I’m gentle and always take care of the other guy during sex.

What has surprised you the most since getting into the industry?

I never realized how much work goes into making a movie. The number of people involved is staggering. There can be maybe 8 or more people easily just to produce one scene. I have a colossal amount of respect and appreciation for everyone on the set. Truly a team effort!!

What do you want most from your director?

FEEDBACK! Whether it’s good or bad, I want to know how I’m doing. I want to get better at this and I feel praise and/or guidance is key! My director at Carnal, Brian, is super. I’ve already learned so much from him. He’s the best!

What makes the perfect scene partner?

An instant attraction is always very helpful. I thoroughly enjoy working with the younger men (love older guys in 30’s/40’s). Kissing is key for me!! So before a scene, I try to get a little acquainted with my scene partner(s). I may get close to them, chat a bit, and hopefully kiss and hug close for a few minutes. Gets the juices flowing.

What was filming your first scene with Carnal like?

I was very nervous on my first shoot. 3 scenes per day for 2 days was a lot! I’m not gonna lie, it was hard work. But when we finished shooting, I’ve never felt so proud and accomplished. It was very rewarding. After all was said and done, I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE.

What do you love most about working with Carnal?

Honestly, I have NEVER in my life met such a wonderful group of people. Everyone is so nice, helpful, and professional. The owners, staff, and all the actors are so encouraging and just a real pleasure to work with. I joined a family. When we’re done with a movie, I’m instantly looking forward to the next.

What do you think sets the content created by Carnal apart from others in the industry?

The content that Carnal creates is fantasy (and we all have fantasies) and their storylines easily transport the view to a hot erotic destination. Up until now, most of what I’ve seen is ‘2 hot guys fucking.’ This to me is why Carnal’s content stands out.

What does it mean the most to you to be named a Carnal Exclusive?

Being a Carnal Exclusive definitely makes you feel special! I suppose Carnal must think that I have something special to offer them in order for them to offer me a contract. I’m humbled and flattered that I would be given this opportunity so early on and with not much experience. It feels great!!

What are the benefits of being a studio exclusive?

I guess one of the most important benefits of being an “exclusive” is they consider me first for any roles that are for a “daddy type“. I get the first crack at that movie. And since I enjoy this so much, I hope to do many more films. Other benefits include participating in collab events and of course, there’s a pay raise.

What do you think the future of gay porn looks like?

I think gay porn is here to stay! The business has gone through a lot of changes from what I can tell. I’m sure it will go through more. I’m thrilled to be a part of a company that is so well respected and has consistently provided the hottest gay porn available.

You also film content for OnlyFans. Do you think OnlyFans challenges the studio structure or can porn fans be avid users of both?

Absolutely! Both only fans and porn companies in general can exist. They both go hand in hand by providing exposure for each other. Porn companies have learned to diversify. IMO, both will be around for a very long time.

Across the nation, more and more states are restricting adult sites and contents in the name of protecting minors…what is your take on the situation and what do you think the ultimate outcome will be?

I’m not sure how to answer that question. Obviously, the political climate in our country has gotten way too divisive. Depending on where you live in the U.S., The restrictions make it worse or more relaxed. Youth should always be protected. There needs to be mechanisms put in place where minors cannot access pornography. No matter what, porn is here to stay. It’s a big part of our culture.

What advice do you have for someone thinking about getting into the industry?

My advice to anyone thinking about venturing into the porn industry would be to make sure this is something that’s right for you. You can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube lol That said, everyone should follow their dreams. I wish I would’ve started this sooner. But better late than never :)

What is your message to your fans?

The most important message that I’d like to send to my fans is, thank you for your love and support! I wouldn’t have become a Carnal exclusive without them. Also, I hope I continue to make quality movies and content for them to enjoy.
