Rhyheim Shabazz Launched Voyr, and We Get Inside with Exec Adam, MrArchAngel

Last Fall a new and exciting site was launched from the seed of work created by the incredible, award-winning Rhyheim Shabazz. Passionate, creative, and sizzling hot, Voyr describes itself as “a pioneering enclave of sensual artistry and diverse sensibilities, with a panache for unparalleled creativity!” Voyr, born of his production work seen mostly on NakedSword, features many of those handsome and talented men you’ve seen in the scenes and films he produced previously in collaboration with NakedSword.

Adam, MrArchangelXXX, is one of the creative production executives behind the site, and he kindly took the time from his busy schedule to answer some questions about this awesome new venture.

How did you become involved with Voyr?

I got involved with Voyr, by meeting Rhyheim at a conference and piquing his interest with some of my knowledge that I shared with him about the industry then it went from there with an amazing relationship!

I've written of many of Shabazz’s scenes, both starring in and creating, that are simply stunning! Will there be any crossover between NakedSword X Rhyheim and Voyr?

Voyr is a standalone studio. While we work with several other studios (NakedSword, along with more in the future) we are the studio that wants to be the vision on the horizon, to have others work with us and show that we can all benefit from working together. While we will most definitely have crossover on sites for the future… keep your eyes out for what the future holds!

Blame It On Rio: Beau Butler's First Gangbang was pretty powerful stuff, garnering award nods and becoming one of NakedSword's most popular releases. Was that sort of where this all started? The big blast, as it were, that set a lot of this in motion?

We had a conversation with NakedSword, & chatted about the idea of doing this production, this was something that we were excited to do along with NakedSword, Trenton (Ducati), and Tim Valenti. This was one of the best scenes that we had made early on with NakedSword. We had started earlier from this step but we wanted to make this even better so we worked with NakedSword & continue to bring amazing things out to everyone!

Are the performers exclusive to Voyr, or will we also see them at NakedSword and other sites?

For the performers that we have been working with, we want to have the models that we work with have the ability to get amazing opportunities in the future.

Over at the Voyr site, they explain their innovative approach as a fusion between content creators and studio work. “Welcoming content creators stands as our top priority. We've built an inclusive and supportive ecosystem that empowers individuals to explore their artistry, express their unique perspectives, and foster their talents in a judgment-free space.”

With the growing influence of independent content creators on JustForFans, OnlyFans, X, and other sites, where do you feel they fit in next to studio porn?

We think that for studio porn, (and their) models that are on JustForFans, OnlyFans, X, (and those) other sites are extremely important; you can see from X how much a post gets interaction with how many people flock to the content they have. Promotion of one’s content is just as important as promotion of studio content, this is why we share with the models the content that we produce after a time. As it not only shows the value they have but allows them to monetize content as well.

What do you see coming down the road for studio sites? What does Voyr do to stay ahead of the curve, to rise above the din, and make itself heard?

For studio sites, they are also seeing the change… Let’s take over 6+ years ago OnlyFans was not as big and popular as it is now. Studios then would have never thought “Oh, ok, let’s get them the content after the video is done.” This is where we strive to break out of the industry standard. We see that this is changing as the models can decide to just do their own thing and not work with studios. We at Voyr, understand this; we take pride in the models we work with and we value them all! We want them to see that working with a studio like ours is something that is amazing and truly a great experience!

For Voyr that “great experience” for the performers seems to be a melding of studio backing with content creator passion and talent: “It is the first of its kind, meticulously crafted studio, emerging organically from the dynamic universe of social media and fan content creation.”

Alternativa's name and imprint seem to be all over the work. Can you speak to his working style and approach to the projects he directs?

Alternativa is one of our exclusive directors for Voyr, an integral part of the team whom we love! (He is) hardworking & dedicated. We do move faster than other studios, from production, to edit to final product. This is where some think “Wow, that's fast” but we pride ourselves on being efficient with time management and thoughtful of production for the models along with our staff.

Does he, or you, have favorite performers who are your go-to men, those who always deliver in a special way, or any that go beyond expectations?

What do you enjoy best about how he works?

His response when I asked him: “I like people who know how to be professional and who make my work easier”. I personally love working with working with Gael. He is amazing & funny to work with, not to mention the versatility (in more ways than one) in what he brings to the table, helping other models understand what would look best, along with helping newer models get an understanding of what they are looking for towards the future! Andy Rodrigues is a great team player and he sure knows how to put on a performance… I mean have you seen his…… Um… Very LARGE Member… lol.

Oh yes, Adam, that has not gone unnoticed!

One thing I noticed in many of the Shabazz-produced scenes is the art direction. Very often the color palette is creams and whites, light colors, white flowers, and light-colored clothing that seem to cause the skin tones of the performers to really burst from the screen in gorgeous ways. The men are beautiful and they seem to pop against the light backgrounds, making for some truly stunning visuals. How purposeful were these choices? Was this Alternativa's creativity at work or someone else?

You have this spot on, this is one million percent on purpose!! This is the direction that Rhyheim has chosen as it works! You hit the nail on the head by saying the models “pop", it makes them stand out of the feature as they are the stars. We want to show it in an artistic style to make it beautiful for everybody but yet passionate enough and hot enough so that people will definitely want to stay and watch more! We always take input from the team on what would look best by new set pieces that we have and how that will contribute to the production.

You mention "authenticity" a couple of times when talking about Voyr's latest release, A Day At the Beach. Can you speak more about that as a means of setting Voyr apart from the others?

While we filmed A Day At the Beach, this is something that we wanted our models to have fun with. We don’t over-direct them to a point that it (feels) scripted. The reason why our content I feel is different is that it is not structured in a way that feels robotic; it is a natural flow of the models and it makes the content hot!

What are your challenges for making Voyr stand out from the crowd?

We wanted the site to be as much a ‘pop’ as the videos we have, which is why you will see that we take a minimal approach to the site, we want the content to speak for itself. To make the viewer at home think that this is something that is happening in their own bedroom that they are a part of!

A-HA! Thus the name “Voyr!”

Where do your models come from? Do you film almost exclusively in Brazil? What are the benefits and detractions, if any, from doing that?

Our models are from Brazil, the US, Australia, the UK, Spain… We like to work with models around the world! We do not film exclusively in Brazil, but it does work really well for us as a big benefit is cost; in Brazil, things are much less expensive than in the US.

What are some exciting projects on the horizon? What does Voyr have planned for 2024?

We are happy to be working with some new studios for the 2024 year!… I can not say much but ohhh it is going to be big! We are aiming to be the best, to get a seat at that table of the best studios to work with! We are aiming to make the best content that we can!
