Hey gurl! It’s Monday! And that means there’s a brand-new episode of my podcast Hey Gurl! With Jordan Jayro! This week’s guest is the fabulous and talented Nebuer Styles! Nebuer is a drag queen and seamstress to the stars! We met about a year ago when we did a brunch together in Palm Springs. That happened to be the weekend that a lot of drag queens mysteriously disappeared, so we all ended up having to do extra performances. Listen to the full episode to get the entire story.

Nebuer has one of the most iconic and unique drag names ever! And that’s coming from me! I believe I have the greatest drag name imaginable just because I use my real name. It’s basically the absence of a drag name. Nebuer confirmed that her drag name is just her legal name backward. I won’t spoil it for you, but you can probably figure it out.

I needed to ask Nebuer about her “A Little Bit Alexis” number. It’s a reference to the TV show Schitt’s Creek, which is without question one of the best TV shows of all time. So when I saw her do the number I nearly lost it. Nebeur has an exact replica of the look Annie Murphy wore on the show. She even told me about the time she was in drag and met Annie Murphy at a bar in Palm Springs. What are the odds?! Drag always brings people together.

Nebuer told me a really fun story about the time she went to Target and got mad at a woman who walking too slow and taking up too much space. She said something to her and her boyfriend tried to fight Nebuer! The guy threatened Nebuer and even called her a slur. She demonstrated great restraint by keeping her cool and walking away from the situation. That led us straight into the story where Nebuer lost her virginity in a Target bathroom. I was not ready for this story, and I know you aren’t either.

I asked Nebuer about the time she was in a video with Joey Graceffa where a group of queens try to figure out who the fake one is. The gag is that all of us know each other so it would be too easy to guess who the fake one is. The other gag is that the actual fake queen was a friend of mine who I immediately recognized. But the queen all the girls accused of being fake was Genie from Drag Race Thailand! I call shade!
