Pixar's 'Elemental' bombs at box office

This new Pixar movie Elemental is being described as the worst box office debut in Pixar history. Many news outlets are saying it bombed at the box office. I would challenge those people to define “bomb”. I have bombed. I’ve done stand-up in drag in a sports bar full of straight men while a Dodgers game was playing. That was bombing. The movie Elemental brought in just over $30 million in its first weekend, which isn’t much compared to other Pixar movies. But it’s still $30 million! I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I plan on it! The trailers looked so good! So I will go see for myself and report back!

Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton star-studded debut sparked joy

In February, Pharrell Williams was announced as the men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton. That was met with mixed reviews. I remember talking about it and being surprised by this. I couldn’t understand how Pharrell would fit into the Louis Vuitton aesthetic, or why they would ask him over someone who has a career in fashion. But Pharrell’s first collection debuted in Paris last week, and the reviews were great! People overall really seemed to love the collection. Lots of earth tones and homages to the house’s traditional silhouettes and their iconic print. Werk! One day I’ll be able to afford these beautiful things!
