Grindr Fails: Acting Masc, Picnics, and Nudes

Hello there! Welcome to this week’s edition of Grindr Fails!! This week, we are dissecting and exposing a lot of interesting interactions. We’re calling out the straight-acting gays! And what am I up to? Oh, just “Crying lol”. Do you like picnics? I sure do, and there are several kinds of them! And we’re also discussing getting to know someone before sending pictures. There’s a lot going on here, so get to scrolling sis!

Little miss yellow chat here simply does not have the time! The person in the blue messages is starting the conversation in a way that is kind of confusing to me. He says he doesn’t have a picture but would send one if they clicked. So does that mean he’d rather chat for a bit before sending the picture? Because that to me is not all that unreasonable. I don’t mind some cheeky banter. I guess it depends on my mood. Clearly, the person in yellow was not interested in taking his time to get to know Mr. Blue. And the ending sent me! At the very least you should see the ding-a-ling!

They say romance is dead, but I’m not so sure yet! This exchange is a really good example of that! The guy in the blue offers to take his new friend on a picnic! And it seems cute and innocent! Until he reveals that he actually just wants to put a towel on the bed. Which I have to say is almost equally romantic! He cares about making the other guy feel comfortable. Or at least he just wants to protect his sheets. It’s all good though! I’d still let him romance me!

There is something so special about being an adult gay male right now. Many of us are poor and depressed and probably grew up with some sort of trauma related to us being gay. So I always laugh at interactions like this. This man in blue straight up said he was crying in the middle of the afternoon. Then he has the audacity to say “lol” about the crying. To make matters even more unhinged, several hours later he’s offering the man in yellow some head. I’m sure he’d much rather cry from choking on a dick anyway.

Girl! She better! Miss Blue is not playing games today! I’d be annoyed too though! These gays really swear that there’s some currency with being “masc”. Some of you insecure gays will fully behave differently because you think that’s what other gay guys will be attracted to. The real tea is that any mature man with a brain wants you to just be yourself. And they can see through the act. And moreover, the guys that judge you if you aren’t as stereotypically masculine as them don’t deserve you anyway! We do not need this behavior!
