Hey Gurl! with Jordan Jayro: Beetrix Couture Talks Farting, Makeup, and Edibles

We open this episode like any great love story: with a burp. Then I went on yet another rant about the weather. I’m still not pleased with the temperature. It is far too cold and rainy for me to exist. I introduced my guest Beetrix Couture, and soon after we talked about edibles. She told me about how high her tolerance is. I was shook! Girl, 10 milligrams and I will cross over to another dimension. Miss Beetrix has taken upwards of 90 milligrams and was totally fine! She is a champion. She also told me about how you can stop using THC and your tolerance can change! I feel so informed now!

Beetrix and I went on a lovely tirade about alcohol. She mentioned that she doesn’t usually like the taste of alcohol. I have never liked alcohol, so I feel her on this. We talked about how in Latinx culture, alcohol is so prevalent. And she confirmed my belief that alcohol makes people smell bad. I feel like I’m always saying that but no one believes me!

I brought up that we haven’t seen each other since the gig we did in Laguna Beach before Covid. That was such a fun time! I vaguely remembered Beetrix telling me a fisting story while we were in the dressing room that night. So, of course I brought it up. And you know Beetrix is not afraid to share a crazy story. So she recounted the entire interaction! Beetrix said she met up with a guy she met on Grindr, but when she got there he asked for a threesome! She said yes, and suddenly the third guy was there! Beetrix and the third guy took turns fisting the man who was hosting them! I was clutching my pearls! But I was riveted the entire time! She wore that man like a bracelet and I was living!

We opened the second act with a powerful message about the importance of deodorant. I always say deodorant is my favorite quick way to elevate your drag. And wash your tights! Bathing is not enough! Even though some people don’t even do that. This segued into the time Beetrix was booked at Hamburger Mary’s and had a sampler platter while she was there. I’ve had the sampler, and she is lovely! Beetrix was doing a number after eating the sampler, and farted in her tights! She quickly ran from the area to avoid the blame. And apparently, no one else smelled it! So I’m guessing the tights absorbed the fart.

Naturally, I had to address the scandal that is on everyone’s mind: the suspension of Beetrix’s Twitter account. Allegedly, she was suspended for having a picture of a man’s pubes as her cover photo. Somehow that led to us talking about how many raccoons can fit up someone’s ass safely. I believed the confirmed answer is two. Before I was further derailed, I asked Beetrix about competing in Facade at Hamburger Mary’s Long Beach. It’s a super prestigious drag competition in Southern California.
