Jordan Jayro’s Drag Race Season 15 Recap: Episode 11, Two Queens, One Joke

DRAG RACE

Jordan Jayro's Reviews of RuPaul's Drag Race

Hi, friends! It’s finally the weekend, and that means I’m back to recap the most recent episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race! I have several thoughts going into this episode! For starters, the season is already almost over! After this episode, we’ll be down to six queens! We still don’t know how many queens will compete in the grand finale! In the past, the top four queens have lip-synced for the crown. So if I do the math, and carry the one, that means we could get the finale in less than a month! I’m done doing calculations, let’s get into this episode!

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx has just sashayed away and Estitties is feeling the pressure. She’s had to lip-sync three times now, and I’m starting to think Ru just loves to watch her perform. Once again, Loosey thinks she should have won the challenge. I’m getting bored with this storyline already. Luxx also thought she was going to win, and I really think she could have! Her and Sasha were both great in the challenge and on the runway. It was definitely a close one!

It’s a new day in the werk room!! Luxx immediately tried to read Loosey for not having a baby bump in last week’s runway. I don’t think Luxx and her coconut wig should even have an opinion about anyone else’s looks. That daytime wig is awful. Ru enters the werk room and tells the queens that for this week’s mini-challenge, the queens will be voguing the house down boots mama work! Sasha and Anetra gave me everything! I had no doubt! Of course, the winner is Anetra!! She gets a special advantage in this week’s maxi challenge, but more to come on that.

Ru tells the queens that for this week’s maxi challenge, they will be doing stand-up comedy at the “Bubly Comedy Festival”! This is going to be fun!! I love comedy challenges! Ru tells the queens that they will perform in pairs! Which is weird because there are seven queens! By way of product placement, the queens choose soda cans out of a cooler to find their partners! It’s a whole thing. The teams are: Sasha and Anetra, Marcia and Mistress, Loosey and Luxx, and Estitties ends up being the last queen without a partner. Ru tells her she can either fly solo, or steal a queen from an existing pair. Estitties decides to steal Mistress, leaving Marcia to fend for herself. And as the mini-challenge winner, Anetra decides the show order. This always goes smoothly!

It’s showtime!! Marcia is up first, and she did her best! I was not a fan of her look. Her hemline was very suspect! Maybe she’ll be safe again somehow. Next up is Luxx and Loosey! These two did a great job! They worked off of one another and had great banter. Someone might just snatch a win this week finally! Anetra and Sasha are up next. This was tough to watch, and they’re two of my faves this season! Sasha did save them in the end, but I’m not sure how they’ll place after the runway. Estitties and Mistress are last, and Estitties did great! Mistress struggled a little bit, but they ended strong! I’m hoping neither of them has to lip-sync again this week.

Just like that, it’s time for the runway! The category is: Rip Her To Shreds! Once again, Marcia’s look was meh and very basic. She tried to camp it up, but I’m so tired. Loosey looked good! She looked so ookey spooky in her mummy bride fantasy! I loved Luxx’s reference to an '80s RuPaul look. She’s a smart girl! Sasha wore my favorite color: DENIM! I loved it!! Anetra ironically had a similar look that was black and pink. It was fine! Honestly, she never really slays the runway. Estitties’ look was poignant and told a great story! Mistress was my favorite look of the week though! She looked like she was set on fire! Her pussy was on fire! I live!!

Estitties and Mistress are safe!! Finally, Estitties doesn’t have to lip-sync! She doesn’t deserve that. Luxx and Loosey are the winners of this week’s maxi challenge!! Yay for them!! The bottom two queens this week are Marcia and Anetra! This is going to be good! They lip-sync to “Boss Bitch” by Doja Cat. This lip sync was WILD. I was thoroughly entertained. I’d tip them both! Anetra wins the lip sync! And that means, unfortunately, Marcia sashays away. We’re officially down to six queens!
