Both men successfully convey the myriad emotions swirling in their characters' heads and it made me not feel the need to hit that fast-forward button. This wasn't good acting "for porn." This was good acting, full stop.

When they get around to having sex it's after they've already been on several dates. We can assume they've already had sex; nothing in the script hints at this being their first time. So the sex we're shown is already full-throttle boning full of all the lust and love one has for their partner they've already committed to forever.

They fall into the bed eager to rip each other's clothes off, the kissing never stopping as they work their way out of the duds and into each other's arms. Hot tongues lick and explore, teeth nibble, and hands reach secret places. Faces disappear into their crotches as hard shafts of manhood disappear down hungry throats.
