Confessions of a Gay Porn Writer: Writing the Most Romantic Scene That’s Ever Existed

It’s February, which for some reason we decided to be the month that hosts the most romantic day of the year even though it’s fucking freezing out (I know there’s an actual reason why Valentine’s Day is on February 14th, but I simply don’t care. I wish that Valentine’s Day was in, like, July or something). What I wasn’t expecting this year was to write the most romantic scene of my entire existence for NextDoorStudios.

That’s right, I’m talking about the recently released Cum Fill my Heart starring the sexy studs (and incredibly sweet people as well!) Blain O’Connor and Derek Kage. To give some backstory, I’m not exactly the most romantic guy on the planet. I want to be! But, I’ve only had one boyfriend, and I haven’t really been on that many dates since we broke up almost five years ago. So, sometimes, romance can be a bit of a struggle for me.

If I’m being honest, I was a little nervous about writing this Valentine’s Day scene because I knew I had to really sell it. I know the porn enthusiasts out there have extremely high hopes for the Valentine’s Day scenes specifically, and I certainly didn’t want to disappoint. But, holy shit, I couldn’t come up with a good enough idea that I knew would satisfy our fans. That, my fellow porn people, is when I turned to one of my best friends. We’ll call him… Beuford. Beuford Bigdong, because he’s got a huge dick. He suggested the idea of the cum chocolates. And holy shit, when I heard that, I knew that I struck gold.

There’s something about the idea that’s so… sensual. So… magnificent. So out of this world. I like to think I’m a good writer, but I don’t know if my mind would ever be able to come up with something that magnificent. The fact Beuford, Beuford Bigdong, was able to give me an idea that was so great and allow me to run with it… Holy shit. Beuford I love you so much, you saved Valentine’s Day.

The thing is, he gave me the idea and it was great. But now, I had to make sure I did this idea justice. I had to make this the most romantic thing that’s ever existed ever. I had high expectations for myself; I NEEDED this to be great, for the fans, for my boss, and most importantly, for my goddamn romantic soul. I wanted to prove to myself that, despite the fact that I haven’t really been on any dates, I COULD be romantic. So I put in the work, and I spent hours crafting the most beautiful piece of writing that I could.

And by God, the results, I couldn’t have been happier with the results. The sensuality that exuded from my fingers onto the page was something I could only dream of achieving. And holy shit the ACTING in this scene. Derek Kage and Blain O’Connor… they did a fantastic job, better than I could have ever hoped for (especially with Derek’s sexy voice). And holy shit, the sex they had… That wasn’t sex, as one of the comments says, “but two individuals making passionate hot love!” They did an incredible job with this, and I can never thank them enough for their performance.

I have to give special thanks to everyone involved; the actors, the director Conrad Parker, my boss Jeremy Babcock, and especially my friend Beuford Bigdong. They helped make the scene what it is today. And with that… I hope all you porn enthusiasts out there had an eventful Valentine’s Day. Maybe some of you will try to give your lover Chocolat de Blanc next year? ;)
