Jordan Jayro’s RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 Cast Reactions!

Start your engines!! It’s that time of year again! The 15th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race begins this week, and this cast is fire!!! The season premieres this Friday, January 6th, on MTV! While we wait, I figured I would give my thoughts on this cast of queens! It’s the biggest cast yet, with a total of 16 queens! So I expect to see a lot of personality, a lot of looks, and a lot of DRAMA. Let’s get into these looks!!!

Amethyst

I can tell right off the bat that Amethyst is going to be fun to watch this season! She talks about her favorite menu item at Taco Bell and how people always notice her nose. I didn’t notice it until she pointed it out! Her promo look is not one of my favorites, but I’m really looking forward to seeing what she brings this season. She’s the kind of queen I would love to Kiki with in the dressing room.

Anetra

Anetra is from Las Vegas, and I know that these Piranha girls do not play! She’s an amazing lip sync performer, and so sexy. The face, the look, everything! Even out of drag! This promo look is so cute!! And I need this hair! I have a good feeling about Anetra this season. Her personality really shines in her Meet The Queens interview. She’s stunning and she can form a sentence!? I’M SOLD.

Aura Mayari

Aura is another beautiful queen. The face is CORRECT! She reveals that she was circumcised in the third grade! That’s the vulnerability we’ve been looking for! She may just be the unofficial trade of the season. Check out her boy pics on instagram! Her promo look is really cool! I appreciate a queen who considers the shoes as part of the overall look. And you can’t go wrong with a high pony!

Irene “The Alien” DuBois

We have to talk about this silhouette!! So gorg! I love a jumpsuit with a pointy shoulder! And these long fingers! Suddenly I want to be probed. Irene’s makeup is so big and gorgeous. I get the vibe that she is going to be that strange, artsy queen who shocks everyone this season.

Jax

Jax reveals that she is is only 5’3”. She’s here to represent for us short bitches! She’s another lip sync superstar, so as much as I don’t want to see anyone in the bottom, I know she’ll give us a show. That being said, I don’t love this look! I feel like the promo look is so important, but a lot of the looks this year are just a leotard with a jacket and boots. This hair however, is correct. We love the hair.

Loosey LaDuca

You know I love a funny, theatrical queen. And Loosey is giving me all of that! She talks about being a construction worker by day, and a drag queen by night. Insert joke about laying pipe… She has the cutest dainty little voice, so it’s really hard to imagine her in a hard hat jack hammering any thing, or any one. She does have one of my favorite promo looks! I love a moto color and spikes. Also, did anyone else notice her and Jax are wearing the same earrings here?!

Luxx Noir London

I have been following this queen for a long time, so it’s awesome to see her one the show! I know she’s a talented look queen, and her music is really cute. Available now on iTunes! Go stream her bops! Her promo look is so cute! It’s a bunch of seatbelts wrapped around her body! Because drag RACE!! Get it!? I love it. Her makeup skills are amazing, so I can’t wait to see what she does!!

Malaysia Babydoll Foxx

Malaysia is a fierce pageant queen from Miami! You know these pageant girls are always so well-rounded, and they love to compete! I’m so ready for her to give us body, and old skool all-American capital D-R-A-G DRAG! Her personality is so endearing, and she’s not afraid to talk about farts. I can’t wait to see her in Untucked, since her drag mother Lashauwn Beyond did famously say “This is not RuPaul’s Best Friend Race!” in Untucked.

Marcia Marcia Marcia

No, that is not a typo. Her name is really the same name repeated three times. I love it! Marcia Marcia Marcia is super crafty, and talks about making a lot of her own drag. Her face is so pretty!! I love the nod she gives to the '60s with her looks. Her promo look is another one I really loved. The black vinyl jumpsuit with the yellow bra and skirt with matching gloves and boots really got me together. So flawless!!

Mistress Isabelle Brooks

She is the drag daughter of Chevelle Brooks, a legendary queen (look her up). Mistress Isabelle Brooks has easily my favorite RuVeal look, but I didn’t like the promo look as much. The face is always stamped though. That’s one of the things I noticed first. She’s another pageant queen, so I expect some amazing drag from her this season. I’ve been told that she turns the party in a lip sync, so I can’t wait to see what she brings to the competition!!

Princess Poppy

This pink gown with the bulletin board is so cute!! It reminds me of the aliens from the Spice Girls movie, but in a more fashion-forward way! She also had a really cool RuVeal look. She said that she’s not afraid to be mean when confronted by another queen. So maybe we’ll finally get some drama this season?! I wanna see furniture fly!!

Robin Fierce

It’s Robin with an “I”!! Don’t get it twisted! Robin Fierce is here to give face (the mug is gorgeous) and she’s.. in a word, FIERCE. She does however mention that she is most nervous for the comedy challenges like Snatch Game. Is this foreshadowing? Let’s check back in a couple weeks… I’m familiar with her work and I know she’s going to bring it on the runway. I do like her promo look a lot! It’s very regal, and who doesn’t love a headpiece!?

Salina Estitties

Girl. I’m trying really hard not to be biased but I must mention how proud I am to see my LA sister on Drag Race!! She is the hardest working woman in show business! Estitties is hilarious, creative, and an amazing performer. And I know she can sew!! She’s definitely one to watch! This promo look is really cool too!! She really did that!! I can’t wait for everyone to fall in love with her this season!

Sasha Colby

Sasha Colby is the legendary mother of Kerri Colby. She says one of the greatest quotes ever in her Meet The Queens interview! She says, “I’m your favorite drag queen’s favorite drag queen.” And it’s true! Sasha is a former Ms. Continental, known for her iconic performances. I’ve watched her winning talent presentation from Continental 2012 a million times! It’s Sasha Colby’s Drag Race, and we are all lucky to be here.

Spice

Okay this is probably my favorite promo look this season! I’d wear this in a heartbeat. I’m obsessed with this Y2K hairstyle and spiked black outfit. Spice talks about loving carrots, and I feel that. Carrot juice is delicious. And so is she. The makeup is FLAWLESS. Not to mention Spice is on the show with her twin sister, Sugar! We got twins on the race, girl. I can’t wait to see how this turns out (insert gif of RuPaul with a monocle)!

Sugar

Sugar appears to be the total opposite of her sister, Spice. Her look is pink, with stars and shoulder pads. And another great hairdo!! I love both of their aesthetics! I’m curious to see the dynamic between them once the competition gets started. Will we get to see them both in the bottom at some point?! Who knows! I’ll be on the edge of my seat.
