What Do You Guys Think About Tumblr Banning Adult Content?

You guys are the last people who I need to deliver this shocking news to. Any navigator of the Dark Gay Web with any sort of integrity knows that Tumblr is one of the best places to go if you want to fire off a quickie in a Potbelly's bathroom (or whatever don't judge) but as of yesterday Tumblr - the preferred social media for perverts - will no longer allow adult content. It's literally like if Fleshbot Gay didn't allow porn or like, Christian Mingle didn't allow Christians who mingle. It doesn't make any fucking sense!

Or does it. That's up to you to decide. The folks at Tumblr released a super lengthy explanation of their decision to ban adult content, which you can check out in full below. They've also updated their guidelines, which will now take on the arduous and controversial task of deciding what content is art or advocacy, and what is porn. You can't blame a site for trying to stay afloat, and maybe their monetization efforts really will be aided by making Tumblr a clean social experience. But considering literally no one knows how Tumblr actually works, or, again, uses it outside of a Potbelly's bathroom (don't you goddamn judge me!) it, um, doesn't make any fucking sense!
