Olly Alexander Says He Wants A Thruple

Years and Years front man Olly Alexander is not afraid to speak his mind and to be open about what he wants in life and love. In a recent interview with the BBC, Olly opened up about the type of relationship he wants. The 27-year old singer says he would like to be part of a thruple, which is basically when a threesome turns into something more, but with one catch: he still gets to live by himself and have his own space.

Ummm... ok...?

"What I think would suit me was if I was in a thruple and the other two guys lived in a house nearby," he said. "I could visit them every now and then and they’d cook me dinner, and then I could just go home and watch TV by myself."

I guess I kind of get why someone would want that. Isn't that just a dream scenario for literally anyone? If anyone could make it happen, though, it'd be Olly.

He also talked about dating straight guys, which has evidently happened on a few occasions for Olly. Speaking of one of his ex lovers, he shared: "He told me he was straight and we became friends, and at a certain point the relationship tipped over into something more intimate – and it felt like we were becoming lovers. And suddenly, there was just an explosion of pain and conflict."

While it sounds like Olly's dating life is quite the adventure, he hasn't had much time for it the past couple of months. Year and Years have been very busy getting their new album "Palo Santo" together, which is expected to drop July 6. The band's last album "Communion" sold over a million copies worldwide.
