The “Art” of “Blake Harper”

We've always liked porn pup-slash-renaissance man Blake Harper: Daddyish enough in flicks like Titan's "Boner" or Falcon's "Sting" when we're feeling that. Now that he and Colton Ford have semi-retired from porn, we thought that our Blake Harper love-fest would peter out. Not so. Just as Colton has found music, Blake is now making a name for himself in art.* His portfolio is a mixture of styles; much of the work is digitized erotic art, including sepia- and blue-washed stills from some porn names that you may recognize. He also does some painting, and his technique is sort of a Warhol meets Tom of Finland in a David Hockney kind of way. -RM

The jury is still out as far as we're concerned, but at least there's one thing we can all agree on: "Stealing copyrighted photos and running a few Photoshop filters on them is not art." Update Mystery solved: it looks like the online portfolio is by an artist who apparently calls himself "Emenen" and includes a gallery featuring doctored photos of Blake Harper, which is the gallery linked in our original post. Fleshbot regrets its error ... all those polarization filters must've been making us dizzy.
