The Bulge Project: Underwear As Art

Before you start drooling over all those you-know-whats in German artists Ralf & Andreas' conceptual underthingie gallery, know first and foremost that this is all about art, not some sleazy pandering to deep-pocketed underwear fetishists or an even sleazier attempt to charge more money for a flimsy piece of cotton fabric than usual. The Bulge Project consists of ten photographs of (mostly) male and (uniformly) glabrous models wearing the pair of underwear you'll also receive a copy of when you order a print; each signed and numbered limited edition framed photo is available in two sizes, and the underwear themselves feature designs "inspired by east german patterns of the 50". We assume you're supposed to wear the underwear while looking at the photograph of the model wearing the same pair that you are, thus creating an endlessly recursive bulgetastic underwear metaverse experience. Or, uh, something like that.
