“Bangkok Dormitory Boys”: A Show With Everything But Yul Brenner

Since we just can't stop making lists around here, here are eight things to love about "Bangkok Dormitory Boys" (even though we haven't actually seen it yet):

1. All those cute Asian guys! Western porn isn't exactly bursting at the seams with Asian men (straight or gay) yet here we have four fine specimens on the box cover alone!

2. The company that produced it is called "BoyKakke". That's punny, y'all!

3. Neckerchiefs!

4. The riddle of the names. The performers are called Ken, Oak, Poe, and Tam. Why so monosyllabic? Why only three letters each? Are those traditional Thai names? So mysterious!

5. Dorm scenes!

6. With the aforementioned neckerchiefs and that labia-pink background, the box cover is serving up total nelly realness--which is a nice break from all the forced butchness we get from other studios. (Seriously, nothing is quite as boner-wilting as a burly mezzo soprano squeaking "Yeah, suck your daddy's dick, bitch!")

7. It's chock full of smooth Thai ass ... it says so right there on the box!

8. We're still intrigued by those names (see #4 above). Maybe there's a hidden message in all this? Our handy acronym generator suggests the performers' names can be reformed to spell "Apt Enema Kook", "Oak Tampon Eek", "Eat Kapok Omen"! It's like "Twin Peaks", but with less doughnuts and way more chicken. What does it all mean?
