And that's not all we'd like to ride on. All the seedy dirtiness of the '70s comes roaring back with these beefcake photos from the latest issue of Pref magazine. Oh, to be alive back in the day.

The shoot is a collaboration between Andrey T. and photographer Brian Kaminski and is inspired by classic gay erotic artist Old Reliable, who used to lure criminals, blue collar workers, and other trade back to his house to take naked pictures. They weren't anything too ornate, but they were transgressive in that he would get men who would never be in a homosexual situation get naked before his lens.

These photos have the same vibe. The men are slightly innocent, but a bit more sinister. They're trying to act natural for the camera, but they know they're putting on a show. They may be naked, but their demeneor, tattoos, shaggy hair, and hats and jewelry are the accessories that let us know they're real tough guys, captured in a moment of desperate vulnerability. Oh, to get back to the '70s would be great. But since that can't happen, these are the next best thing.
