"Smut Capital of America" is a documentary about Chuck Holmes, gay philanthropist and founder of Falcon Studios. The film mixes interviews with directors, retired pornstars, and other famous figures in the history of smut with archival footage from San Francisco in the early 70s, during the early days of hardcore pornography. If you have a thing for vintage porn or if you just want to get a feel for the history and political warfare that's responsible for bringing us the smut we get off to every day, then this is a film for you!
