Daryl Dixon Likes Dick? The Walking Dead Goes Gay?

Fans of the television series The Walking Dead know that the crossbow-carrying, motorcycle-riding, stoic badass Daryl Dixon has quickly become one of the show’s most popular characters. With his gravely voice, steamy gaze and carefully coifed hair, Daryl has won the hearts and loins of Walking Dead viewers. But this love affair might soon come to an end with the rumors of Daryl being gay.

According to The Superficial (link below), Dead creator Robert Kirkman has teased the idea of making Daryl gay. When asked in an interview with some lame comic book-related site, Kirkman said that the idea of Daryl becoming a homosexual has been discussed. No big deal, right? But as one can imagine, quickly rising with the gay rumors is the backlash of anti-gay detractors, threatening to quit the show because they’re tired of the gay agenda.

The graphic violence, splattering zombie blood, and the grotesque soundtrack that accompanies a zombie getting its head repeatedly smashed, and the mediocre writing doesn’t seem to make a wave. But making Daryl a gay dude is the turning point! Weird, right?  

Here’s one Walking Dead fan that hopes Daryl queers up and comes out.
