We Saw Gladiator 2! Here's the Hot Leading Men in the Buff!

We got to see a sneak preview of Gladiator 2 last night. It was....ok. LOL. Actually, it's right between a B and a B+. It's a perfect movie for a Sunday matinee, but it isn't really earth-shattering. There is plenty for the queer eye to see though. There are tons of manly men who are shirtless and sweaty. There are queer characters in the Empirical court and there are references to men being bisexual (namely by Denzel Washington's character). If you liked the first Gladiator, from 24 years ago, you'll probably love this one. It kind of reads the same. The CGI, the music, the look, and the storyline are very much an imprint from the first. They do connect the first and sequel movies together nicely. There are some great battle scenes, but it kind of is a meh for us. But let's get back to the man meat. There were so many hunky chests and biceps all over the screen, we needed our napkins for more than the popcorn butter mess. So we wanted to take this moment and look at the leading men of Gladiator 2 in their most skintastic scenes from their career, courtesy of Mr. Man.

Paul Mescal

The lead of Gladiator 2 is Paul Mescal. He's all muscled up, has a mustache, and has beautiful blue eyes that steal just about every scene. His character is directly linked to the first film (no spoiler alerts) and because of his fighting skills in the arena, is causing much drama for the Roman Empire. With his added muscle weight, he looks a bit different from his past projects. And he's played gay, he's shown skin, and we love it!

Pedro Pascal

What more can we say about Pedro Pascal? He's become a fierce ally to the LGBTQ community and he sets all of our mature gay fantasies aflame! In Gladiator 2, he plays General Marcus Acacius who leads the Roman Empire at war with other nations. He becomes disenfranchised by the current reign and becomes entangled in the politics of it all and finds himself at the center of the arena. Sadly, we don't get to see much skin from him in this movie. BUT, he hasn't been shy in the past! Look at his cute butt.

He also gives us a taste of gay in Strange Way of Life.

Denzel Washington

Denzel plays Macrinus, a former slave who trains fighters to fight in the arena. He has his eye on running the Empire. He's pretty flamboyant and there's a nod to him being bisexual. A gay kiss that Denzel improvised was cut from the film. Unfortunately, in Gladiator 2, his acting style and speech just don't fit. He is so present-day American when everyone else is giving classic speech and his overacting just doesn't fit here. Anyway...he has shown us some skin in his career!

Joseph Quinn

If you like your movie studs on the twink side, Joseph Quinn plays Emperor Geta. He chews up the scenery with his delicious acting and he loved to hate him. He was a perfect villain. And he's shown us his cute butt before.
