Hailing from Houston, he got into the adult biz just a few years ago but has already found his voice, his footing, and his confidence in the adult industry. Joining Carnal+ is the next big step in his career journey. He is still working on balancing his porn and personal life, and he has a zest for travel and attending raves. Reliving his Scout days, being part of the outdoors is very much his passion with hiking, backpacking, and kayaking his personal pleasures. In this Fleshbot Gay Exclusive, we chat about his getting into the industry, finding his confidence, and what joining the Carnal+ family means to him.

How did you end up getting into the adult industry?

From a young age, I had an interest in film and aspired to live a lifestyle of glamour and creativity. As I grew older and developed a stronger sense of confidence in my own sexuality, I began to take a particular interest in the adult film industry as an expressive and professional path. I started sharing content on Twitter in 2021 during the pandemic, initially as a creative outlet. Shortly after, I launched an OnlyFans account, which allowed me to engage with content creation on my own terms. After a few years of independently building my portfolio, I decided to expand into studio work, beginning this new chapter in August 2023.

What do you wish you would have known before starting in the adult world?

I wish I had fully understood that, much like any entrepreneurial field, this career is very much what you make of it. Success here is defined by consistency, discipline, and authenticity—qualities that I continue to cultivate. These principles are crucial to building a sustainable and fulfilling path in the industry.

What has surprised you the most since getting into the industry?

The most surprising aspect of this industry has been the personal growth I’ve undergone, particularly in terms of maturity and confidence. I’ve also been impressed by the wide range of skills this career demands; to succeed, one must develop a diverse skill set, from film editing to social media marketing, becoming adept in multiple areas along the way.

What do you think sets you apart from other models in the industry?

What sets me apart from other models in the industry is the journey I've taken to get here. For a long time, I flew under the radar, moving from studio to studio without a clear vision. This approach allowed me to blend in, and I didn't fully show fans who Canyon Cole truly is. However, all that time was invaluable for learning and gaining experience. Now that I've found a home and have established a solid foundation, I'm in a unique position compared to many newer models. With a renewed focus, I’m ready to bring my authentic self to the forefront and create a deeper connection with my audience.

What makes the perfect scene partner?

The ideal scene partner is someone with a great sense of humor. In this line of work, there are inevitably moments that can feel a bit awkward, and days on set can often stretch to eight hours or more. Working alongside someone who can also keep the atmosphere light and enjoyable can make those long hours and challenging aspects of the job feel much more manageable. A positive and playful energy truly brings out the best in any collaboration.

What was filming your first scene with Carnal like?

Filming my first scene with Carnal was an unforgettable experience. It was for Scout Boys with Jordan Starr, Reece Scott, and Grant Ducati, and the shoot was genuinely enjoyable. Having been in Scouts when I was younger, it was fun to play into that and bring a bit of fantasy to life. After watching the scenes, I think they turned out every bit as hot and enjoyable as they felt to film.

What do you love most about working with Carnal?

What I love most about working with Carnal is their commitment to putting their models first. Every shoot feels like being part of a family, creating a supportive and collaborative environment that makes the experience genuinely rewarding.

You are a big fan of EDC Vegas, what do you love most about it, and what do you get from going?

I'm a huge fan of raves, and EDC Vegas has been the most incredible experience for me so far. I love to camp when I go, and with limited cell service, it's the perfect chance to fully disconnect from the outside world. Immersing myself in the music, connecting with the people, and soaking up the uplifting environment feels almost transformative. For me, EDC is a deeply healing, almost spiritual experience—an opportunity to lose myself in the music and release so much of what I’ve been holding onto in life.

Japan is on your list for travel, what is the allure of that country, why do you want to go so badly?

I've always been captivated by Japanese culture, art, cuisine, and history, so Japan holds a special allure for me. The chance to experience firsthand the country that has given rise to so many of my favorite things is incredibly exciting. Honestly, even just the thought of enjoying authentic sushi in Japan is reason enough to go!

You grew up exploring the outdoors. How did your connection to the outdoors help shape who you are?

Growing up in the outdoors, especially through my years in Boy Scouts, has been instrumental in shaping who I am today. I gained not only survival skills from activities like backpacking, kayaking, and rock climbing, but also developed essential leadership and interpersonal abilities. One of my most cherished memories was serving as crew leader for a week-long, 100-mile backpacking trip through the mountains of New Mexico, where we relied solely on what we could carry. Experiences like that teach resilience, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. They help you discover who you are and how to navigate challenges with confidence and respect for others.

How do you balance your porn and personal life?

Balancing my work in the adult industry with my personal life has honestly been one of the biggest challenges I’m still working on. This career is highly entrepreneurial, demanding a strong sense of drive and discipline to succeed. The constant travel can make it difficult to stick to a routine and maintain smart financial habits. It's all too easy to get swept up in the income and feel tempted to spend impulsively or indulge in a fast-paced lifestyle. But I’m learning that true success requires staying focused and grounded, and it’s ultimately up to me to create that balance.

What do you want most out of your porn career?

At 24, I'm still discovering so much about life and my path, but right now, my primary focus is on curating and growing my brand within the adult industry. While I recognize that performing in porn isn’t a lifelong career, it offers a unique opportunity to build a strong personal brand and leverage both social and financial capital to branch into other ventures. One passion project I hope to bring to life is curating and hosting events for queer communities, creating safe spaces where people can enjoy top-quality experiences and great music. Growing up in Texas, especially in Houston, I’ve noticed a significant gap in the market here compared to cities like New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago. I draw inspiration from successful figures like Jake Resnicow and Pasquale Rotella and aspire to bring that level of community and celebration to the queer scene in my home state.

What advice do you have for someone thinking about getting into the industry?

My advice for anyone considering the industry is to identify what makes you unique or niche and learn how to market that effectively. The adult industry can often feel oversaturated, making it challenging to stand out, and I wish I had focused on carving out my own distinct space in this vast field much earlier. Having a clear, original brand or specialty can be instrumental in establishing yourself and finding long-term success.

What is your message to your fans?

My message to my fans is one of genuine gratitude. I truly appreciate the love and support you’ve shown over the years, even during times when I may have been inconsistent or only half-committed to this career. Your continued support means the world to me. I love the creative outlet this work provides, and it’s incredibly meaningful to know that both I and my work resonate with so many of you.
