Adam Tyrant: The Adult Industry from A Swede Point of View

Fleshbot's tour of Europe continues to the Nordic nation of Sweden. This chilly country has several smoking-hot new performers who are making a buzz in the European porn industry. One such new face (among his other beautiful features) is the gorgeous Adam Tyrant. With his green eyes, crystal clear pale complexion, and cross-fit-trained body, Adam has a beautifully clean-cut and almost innocent look (he was actually a model in his youth!). In less than a year, Adam has an OnlyFans with tens of thousands of followers, is a sensation on the live performance circuit, and has already shot dozens of scenes for some of the major studios.

In his first online interview, Adam shares how he chose to finally take the plunge into porn and how he has only just begun.

Let's start with a few basics: Age? Hometown? Occupation? Relationship status?

I’m 35 years old and currently live in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m half Swedish and half Finnish. I work as a landscape architect by day. I lived in Denmark for a short while where I studied architecture. I have been happily married (for a few months), to the most loving and supporting (and super sexy) man there is!

How did you create your stage name?

It was kind of given to me. I have a surname that hardly anyone, except a Finn, can spell or pronounce, and I have often had it misspelled as ”Tyrant”. Adam is one of my middle names. Thus, Adam Tyrant.

Could you share with us some of your background in Sweden?

We moved a lot when I was younger but I grew up mostly in Stockholm. I have a working-class background and we didn’t have much when I grew up, but being out in the wild and nature was something we did a lot. I came out as gay very early, I think I was around 15 years old. At that time, it was really difficult to be gay, and being a gay teenager felt very lonely. Gladly that has changed, at least here in Sweden and in bigger cities.

What has brought you to the world of Gay Porn?

I love porn! I have always been fascinated by masculine bodies, sex, and porn. The journey hasn’t been straight (hehe). However, I did some modeling when I was younger and I discovered that I’m a bit of an exhibitionist. A friend of mine took some photos of me having sex a long time ago and I just loved it. The step to doing porn felt quite natural, but it took some time and consideration.

Why at this time in your life?

Doing porn has been a dream of mine ever since I was a teenager and I started jerking off to porn. But I’ve always been quite self-conscious and afraid of what others might think of me. It’s weird to think about it now, but I’ve felt so much shame around sex and my kinks before. However, I came to a point in life where I no longer care and I feel that life is too short to hold back. Now I’m living out my true authentic slutty and kinky self.

Could you share with us your relationship with pornography before becoming a performer yourself? Favorites? Influences?

I remember the first time I saw a scene from Treasure Island Media - it was so filthy and piggy. It also felt a bit forbidden… and I loved it! Another great influence for me has always been Tom of Finland of course: the masculine looks, the raw and sometimes kinky sex, and also showing guys having fun and being unapologetically horny. My goal as a performer is to channel some of that.

How has your first year in the business been? What are some of the surprises and challenges you've faced?

It hasn’t even been a year yet for me in the business. I’ve had so much fun and met so many sweet guys that I now consider my friends. Starting was a bit difficult because I wanted to work with studios at first. I was super lucky to get in touch with Kristen Bjorn who gave me a chance. I also got so much help from other performers and I really like the open and uplifting atmosphere that exists in the community, especially in Spain. It has really meant a lot and I hope I can return the favor to other guys who wants to start.

The number one challenge has been to get in touch with studios. I really love filming for studios and I am eager to do more. I guess studios get loads and loads (pun intended) of applications though.

How is it having a partner while also becoming a porn star?

We have always had an open relationship and we communicate and talk about everything, which I think is important in any kind of relationship. We support each other completely, and when I explained my dream of doing porn he totally supported me and even helped me to get in touch with people. For my first porn scene, he made me breakfast in the morning, planned the route to the location, and cheered me on when I felt nervous. He’s my first and number one fan. I am very happy that he has been a big part of my journey and I guess I have influenced him to start doing some porn as well! Haha. Since April of this year, he started performing too as Daddy Lobo. I am super proud of him and I guess we are one of those porn couples now haha, Adam Tyrant and Daddy Lobo.

What are some of your upcumming (hehe) projects?

I have some live shows coming up, and I’m attending a sneaker/sport fetish event in Manchester in November. Next year, I’ll be at Darklands in collaboration with a fetish brand named AASSSOXX. I am always up for more and I hope to get in touch with more studios and content creators (call me!). I have been filming quite a lot this summer so keep an eye out for new scenes!

What are some of the other studios and performers you'd most like to work with? Why?

Oh, there are soooo many guys I would LOVE to work with, it would be impossible to name them all! I already had the pleasure of working with some performers I’ve looked up to for a long time like my fellow Swede Tomas Brand. If by chance Francois Sagat reads this - "Hey!"

The same goes for the studios. There are so many I would love to work with. I love acting and role-playing, so dressing up in a suit would give me as much of a boner as well as laying in a sling and being a cum dump! Oink! Oink!

Are there any specific acts or thing(s) you haven't yet done on film (or in life) that you still want to try?

You bet! I am versatile, but really more bottom and it would be fun to challenge myself to being more of a top and potentially a dom. Group scenes would be fun to do more of, and also to show more of my kinkier sides.

Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of porn. Interests? Hobbies? Beliefs?

I love traveling and I’m very interested in architecture and history. I also like museums and of course some good restaurants, I love food! I like being outdoors for hiking, beach time, and kayaking. I’m part of a cult called CrossFit which I could talk about for hours! lol.

Who is the real Adam?

Despite my name ”Tyrant”, I strive to be kind and I can actually be a bit shy. I consider myself a curious person and I love to explore places and new things, as well as getting to know new people. I have been sober for 5 years, but I still enjoy techno and going out clubbing. A little bit more than five years ago I was in a dark place and it became clear to me that I didn’t want things to end badly, especially after losing people around me because of drugs. My partner also influenced me and it's been so much easier to have someone close to you being sober as well. There’s a growing community within the industry and among performers who are sober and I’ve made a lot of friends this way.

What makes a true "Porn Star"?

Of course, dick size and muscle mass in all its glory but for me, charisma, being humble, sex and body positivity, and professionalism are the most important features of a true Porn Star! No one wants to work with someone who is unpredictable or doesn’t listen to others. Also, consent - check with your fellow performers and partners regarding all do’s and dont’s.

Are you going to become one? How?

Being professional is very important to me. That means being present, aware of the room, angles, the camera and of course connecting with the one(s) I am performing with. And since I love having sex on camera, I’m just going to go at it!
