We Love Men in Wrangler Jeans!

We love seeing a man in jeans. The way they grab a man's butt and perfectly shape it, the tight bulge showing off a man's package, to the way a guy's thighs are highlighted, jeans are a gift from up above. Jeans have gone from being functional for workers to being a fashion choice. We've seen jeans go from baggy to super slim to now going back to baggy (yuck). But what about those tried and true Wranglers? They are now considered a bit retro, but damn, they certainly hug a man's body parts so well. Let's pay homage to men in jeans, courtesy of Wrangler Butts.

Wranglers are considered the authentic cowboy/western jeans. Next to Levi's and Lee's, they are among the three biggest jeans manufacturers. The jeans hit the market in 1947 by a company founded by C.C. Hudson and his brother Homer. C.C. originally got his start by working in an overall factory and decided to go into business for himself after being laid off.

The brothers hired celebrity tailor Rodeo Ben to design the first pairs, which were created for rodeo cowboys. Wranglers became very popular in the South, after being officially endorsed by big names in the rodeo.

During the 50s, jeans became in fashion and in high demand, especially by the US youth. Wrangler grew its brand from rodeos to include NASCAR racers for endorsement.

By 1996, a quarter of US men were wearing Wranglers.

Even though Levi's has double the market that Wrangler does, the jean company still does a big business, mostly in the South. They are a strong part of the country music, rodeo, and race car driving worlds.
