Tinder has 16 personal descriptors users can use on their profile. Surprisingly, a person's Zodiac sign is the number one descriptor that is being used. Sorry earth signs, you are not popular on Tinder. Leos dominate the app, with Cancer and Scorpio following in popularity.

Working Out

The second most popular descriptor for men was workout habits. 53% of men say that occasionally work out, and 42% state that they are gym rats. Judging by some of the catfishes we've met on Tinder, being a gym rat might be a stretch for some guys. Other interesting descriptors, 74% identify as non-smokers, and identifying "drink of choice" is ranked fifth in what men put as their descriptor.

Sorry Gen Xers, Tinder may not be the platform for you. Only 4% of users are over 40 years old, 8% are 35 - 40. 68% of users are between 20 - 30 years old, with the majority being 25 - 30.
