Newbie Jack Jacob: Discovering the Biz

The family at ASGmax just got a little, pardon the pun, bigger with porn newbie Jack Jacob making his debut with ASG Auditions. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, he's a real life sports guy who plays hockey. He traveled to San Diego to film his first scene, and our sources at the studio say he is a natural. We chatted with Jack about getting into the biz, filming his first scene, and what his take on the industry is thus far.

What do you wish you would have known about the adult industry before you got into it?

I wish I knew how much effort and time it took to manage and basically get yourself started in the industry. Knowing this has made me appreciate a deeper understanding of the business as well as big studios/talent that provide a flow of content.

What is your advice to someone just breaking into the industry?

Take it slow at first and give yourself time to create your image. Stay kind and make as many connections as possible. I also find it helpful to add any skills from your personal life and see how you can tie them into the industry.

What was filming your first studio scene like? How did it go?

My first studio scene was with ASGMax and it went awesome! I really vibed with my scene partners and had lots of fun throughout the shoot. Everyone on set was super friendly and the studio went above and beyond to make sure everything went well.

How has being in the industry affected your personal life – good and bad?

I’ve only had nothing but a good experience from being in the industry so far. I have a group of friends who are super supportive, my partner is my number one fan, and I’ve met some great people along the way. I believe the pornstar stigma is slowly getting more accepting and honestly, it opens up who your true friends are.

What is a hobby/job/talent that you have in your personal life that we don’t know?

I’m a VERY big sports fan and play hockey in my free time.

What do you love most about working with ASGmax?

Well for starters, the models that the studio cast are super sexy. It was a great time filming some hot scenes with them. The studio also took into consideration that it was my first time filming and again, the crew made sure I was comfortable the entire time I was with them.  As a model, it was nice to work for an industry standard like ASGmax. Being from Seattle, the cherry on top was flying to San Diego to get some sun after filming.

What has working with ASGmax taught you most?

To be honest, I never thought in my life that I would have to memorize a script. I think the biggest thing that ASGmax has taught me is that I need to work on my acting skills.

Loved ASG Auditions! What did you love most about filming that content?

I really enjoyed that viewers got a little taste of my personality and got to know me before I got naked on camera. It was also really fun to show off my body while getting to top two sexy dudes.

In your opinion, what are the most important factors in doing well in an audition?

In my opinion, filming an audition scene requires a combination of physical and mental preparation. Walk in with confidence and get comfortable on set so you can really perform your best.

What are some of the most important things you want from your co-star?

Naturally, I really like to get to know someone before anything, let alone making a sex tape. If my scene partner is easy to chat with and the set starts with good vibes, that really sets the tone for a good fuck. On top of mutual interest, I would like co-star(s) to have clarity and communication so all goes well.

What are some of the most important things you want from your director?

Important things I would want from my director would be experience, professionalism, and respect for the crew and actors. I really enjoy when directors work with new talent and grow them throughout different types of scenes.

How do you separate your personal life from your porn life?

I separate my personal life from my porn life by having a healthy balance and establishing a clear work schedule like any other job. Also making time for my own hobbies, people in my life, and personal interests are really essential and give me a break from my industry.

What do you want most from your career in the industry?

For the future, I would really want to make more connections in the industry, continue filming hot scenes with guys, and have another reason to travel.

What do you think the future of gay adult content looks like?

I believe the future of gay porn will lean more on personal content, with studios aiding in the process when it comes to rising stars and talent.

What is your message to your fans? 

You guys are great at motivating me. I genuinely love doing porn and specifically enjoyed filming content with ASGMax, I hope you enjoyed the scene as well, and I’m super grateful to have the support to continue doing this. Stay humble and horny.
