Ready to go deep into Cole's history? It’s time for an all-new episode of Sorry For Asking with Cole Connor and Adam Ramzi! And who better as a guest than Cole’s mom, Paula? She joins us in this episode to discuss what it was like to raise a ham like Cole in Lexington, Kentucky, and what it's been like since to watch him grow into the big gay porn success story he is today. Some laughs, some tears, and many revealing insights into our sweet Cole Connor. The episode kicks off with Cole sharing his nerves and excitement for having his mother on the show. The boys waste no time bringing in their guest, the iconic Paula Harrison!

Adam is sure to ask Paula what Cole was like growing up, and she mentions how creative he was. Cole was very musically inclined, but he said he hated his piano teacher. He mentioned maybe he’d still be playing if he didn’t dislike her so much. Cole shared that his mom took him to see musical theatre growing up, and she talked about being a dancer and performing when she was younger. Paula told a really funny story about Cole pinching an employee in a retail store. Check out the full episode to hear the entire story.

Paula mentioned thinking about Cole’s identity and feeling like he might have been struggling earlier in life. Cole talked about his coming out experience, saying that a friend of his convinced him to live as his authentic self. It was then that Cole wrote a letter to each of his parents and spoke to his siblings. Thankfully his family was supportive. Paula talked about wishing that he would have felt comfortable coming out sooner. Adam mentions that the time was not a good one to be out and gay. Paula talked about the AIDs epidemic and how it shaped society’s views of gay men.

Apart from the normal coming out, Cole talked about his coming out as a porn actor. He called his parents on a long drive to tell them about his career change. At the time, they thought he was still working as a personal trainer. Paula talked about a relative showing her a movie Cole had made before (that movie was not porn), so she figured something was going on. Pauls talked about this stigma around porn when she was growing up, and how her brother would be into porn and it grossed her out.

This episode was so cute! It was so nice hearing from Cole’s mom and learning more about what Cole was like growing up. And I hear there may be an episode coming up featuring Adam’s mother! So stay tuned!
