‘Barbie’ World Premiere: Margot Robbie and America Ferrera Fangirl Over Nicki Minaj and More Perfectly Pink Moments

Last week was the pink carpet premiere of the Barbie movie in LA, and it was so camp! This is quite possibly the most heavily-marketed movie of all time. The promotion of this film started nearly a year ago, and everywhere I look I feel like I’m seeing another ad or press thing for this movie. And the premiere was no different. These people spared no expense! Nicki Minaj showed up in at least 40 inches of human hair (Luxx Noir London just left the chat). It is truly wild, and the fact that Oppenheimer is coming out on the same day is just what the internet needs. The memes have been lovely, gal! I’m hearing now that theatres are offering double feature tickets for these movies. I can’t! But I will be watching Barbie this weekend!

I will start this by saying that I like Taylor Swift! I think she has some fierce bops, and there’s no denying her power in the culture. Hence the drama over her ticket sales and how it was nearly impossible to get them. That being said, this needs to stop. She just released the new version of her album Speak Now. As you know, she is re-recording her albums since her catalog was sold against her will, yada yada yada—we’ve already talked about this. But now the FBI is using her new album to encourage Taylor Swift fans to report crimes. I get it. Swifties do give me snitch energy. Swifties are the ones who remind the teacher they forgot to collect the homework.

Jonah Hill’s Ex Sarah Brady Just Shared A Load More Screenshots Of Their Alleged Text Exchanges After He Was Accused Of Being "Emotionally Abusive" And Weaponizing "Therapy Talk"

I’m sure by now you have seen the screenshots of the text conversations between Jonah Hill and his ex-girlfriend Sarah Brady. They pretty much show Jonah Hill being the absolute worst kind of person. He was telling her the kind of people she should be around, and what she can and can’t post online. It was truly wild. And he was weaponizing all this therapy jargon he learned. It was a master class in gaslighting and manipulation. People online are even blaming her for sharing it!! It’s sad how society constantly villainizes women. Did anyone ready those horrible things he said to her? It’s clear he’s an insecure man of privilege with very low self-esteem. His behavior is that of a gross straight white man of subhuman intelligence. I hope he has the day he deserves.
