Hey Gurl! It’s a brand new week here at Hey Gurl Productions! And that means it’s time for a brand new episode of Hey Gurl! With Jordan Jayro! This week my guest is DJ Lord Izac! He’s an amazing DJ here in LA and also a master personal trainer! He and I met a while back when I did a RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing party in Long Beach. It was the night of the season 14 Snatch Game. You know, that infamous Snatch Game! He told me I looked pretty and that was all I needed to be friends. Since then he has DJ’d venues not just in SoCal but all over the world! I was so excited to hang out with him and record an episode.

My moment before centered around me allegedly taking a marijuana gummy prior to the recording. I may or may not have started with 5mg, and as you will hear, work my way up to the entire 10mg. It’s all about balance right? The smartest way to partake is to take a little bit, then check in with yourself in 30-45 minutes and decide if you should take more. This was so nice because Izac and I were in the comfort of my home and had a lovely time with perfectly legal recreational marijuana!

Once I introduced Izac, we had a lovely chat about the gym. As someone who tries not to make the gym my entire personality, I rarely ever talk about working out. But when Izac is on the pod, we have to talk about the gym right? I shared a little about my routine, specifically my chest routine. Izac validated my decision to do whatever I want whenever I work out. So I will continue to do so!

The second half of this podcast is unhinged, even for me! The edible was hitting and it was like me and Izac’s text convos came to life! For some reason, I kept trying to look things up with my phone but the wifi wasn’t working. I was probably too high on the edible to figure it out. For some reason, Izac and I discussed whether or not go-go boys should douche before a gig. I don’t think they should have to, but I think they should at least shower! Some of these boys don’t even do that or wear deodorant. I do think it’s intentional though. Though it’s not something I’m into.
