Johnny Moon Talks Gay Porn, Pole Dancing, And What’s Next

I had the privilege of interviewing a man with the full package, and an impressive one too! Tell me, who is Johnny Moon?

Just in general, I'm someone who likes to be the life of the party. At my core, I'm a fun-loving kind of guy. I usually just seek out a good place to dance with friends, and I really enjoy meeting people in my adventures.

When did you start doing porn and how did you get into the industry?

I started really focusing on it about three years ago. I was already a stripper and had a solid base in acting, so it was the next logical step for me.

What are some positive impacts porn has made on your life?

I definitely wasn't as confident as I am now before starting porn, that has been the most drastic change. I enjoy nearly everyone I work with, and I've been lucky to make several really good friends along the way. It has also opened doors in my dancing life as well with opportunities and bookings.

You're quite an impressive pole dancer, how did you get into that?

I would watch clips online because I was already fascinated by the art form, but I would watch some videos and think, "I can do that." I walked into the club where I work now and the owner at the time came up to me after about 5 minutes, and he asked if I would like to try out. I went to the tryout and everyone thought I had previous experience or done pole classes before, but I had not.

What is your favorite drink to order at the bar?

I wake up and choose chaos, so a double vodka Redbull.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time, any hobbies?

I go to concerts and music festivals as much as possible. I have seen everyone from Caroline Polachek to Rush to Vince Staples. I also love to get into outdoorsy stuff and anything that will allow me to smoke a blunt next to a body of water.

You've grown an impressive 86k followers on Twitter, what's it like having such a large following?

Usually, in a Queer space, someone will recognize me and it brings the best interactions. Like yes, tell me how much you love my butt and watching my face while I'm getting pounded, and be sure to tell ya friends.

Of all the scenes you've filmed, which one is your favorite and why?

It would have to be one the first studio scenes I ever did, it was with Nico Coopa under Next Door's Stag Collective. We just had really great chemistry and it was still pretty raunchy. And if it's not a little bit raunchy I'm out.

What's next for Johnny Moon?

I feel like I have a huge summer ahead of me. There may or may not be an appearance on TV [he's currently appearing on season 2 of Go-Go For The Gold]... who knows. I might have some very fun parties in the works. There might also be some merch. I'm also constantly working different events and shows in Portland so come see me live if you're in the area.
