French Photographer Jonathan Icher Is Your New Social Media Obsession

If you spend as much time scrolling on Instagram as I do, you've probably come across your high-minded friends sharing this amazing Pisces photo of a hot, shirtless merman by French photographer Jonathan Icher. I can't even count how many of my Insta friends have shared this amazing image.

The image is so striking, it got me interested in what other art Jonathan Icher has created, and boy was I grateful I did. This guy is so mega-talented and his concepts are so heady but brilliant. It's truly high art to see what he does. These creative ideas and the way he pulls them off really deserve our attention and our social media follows.

Also, get this, because Icher works in artistic nudes, he also photographs some of our favorite gay porn stars like Cybersocket Award winner Teddy Torres, Robert Royal, and Sharok.

Sharok was actually the star and muse of Jonathan Icher's Aladdream series, for which the artist said:

"In the four visuals of the 'Aladdream' series, Iranian performer Sharok reclaims stereotypes gravitating between clichés, lost between sexual fantasies and different perceptions.

The series mocks the representations of the animated movie 'Aladdin', that portrayed a very stereotypical vision of the Middle East. In a similar manner, in the adult film industry - especially French studios - Middle Eastern men are excessively fetishised."
