‘Knock at the Cabin’ review: M. Night Shyamalan’s latest movie is one of his best

We love to see gays in movies! Even if they're kind of scary! M. Night Shyamalan's newest movie, Knock at the Cabin, tells the story of a gay couple and their daughter on vacation in the woods. All is well until a group of people visit them unannounced and tell them that in order to prevent the apocalypse, they must sacrifice one of their own. The movie is based on the novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay, and is already getting really great reviews. Rupert Grint plays one of the visitors, so that's enough of a reason for me to go see this movie! I usually roll my eyes at these kinds of end-of-the-world movies, but this one is different. The longer they take to make a decision, more and more catastrophic events happen in the world, taking out more and more people. So if you want to see how this all plays out, walk your gay self down to the local cinema and watch Knock at the Cabin!

Andrea Riseborough will keep the Oscar nomination after Academy review

The tea is HOT with Andrea Riseborough and her most recent Oscar nomination. The nomination is a bit of a gag itself, to be honest! She was nominated for Best Actress for her role in the indie drama To Leslie. This movie only made about $27,000 at the box office and still earned her a nomination. Which I suppose is great for other independent films! But the controversy behind this is that there were allegedly social media tactics used to promote her nomination that could cause her to lose her nomination. I did not know this, but there are apparently very strict rules on how to earn votes for an Oscar. You can not ask Academy members for votes, you can not use another nominee's name in a disparaging way to earn votes. Basically, you can't do anything but praise someone's performance without outright asking for votes. The Academy did an investigation into the allegations and ultimately decided that nothing was done to warrant them taking away her nomination. Now, will she actually win?! After all this, I doubt it. People will just say she didn't win fairly anyway.

Alyssa Milano Apologizes to Britney Spears Over 'Bullying' Tweet

So back in December, Alyssa Milano tweeted "Someone please go check on Britney Spears." This past Tuesday, Britney posted an Instagram story with a screenshot of the tweet, saying "It saddens me to see things about me from people who don't know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!! Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!!!" It's safe to say that she did not appreciate Alyssa Milano's comment. What's even more shocking is that she insinuates she doesn't even know Alyssa Milano. I'm not sure why that's so shocking to me. Anyway, a rep for Alyssa Milano told TMZ that she personally reached out to Britney to apologize for the tweet. No one knows if Britney saw the message or responded, but as a result, Alyssa Milano is taking a lot of heat on Twitter. As of the time I'm writing this, the tweet is still up, and the responses are very colorful. Go look if you want to see all the drama.

Gia Giudice gets immigration law job after dad Joe’s deportation

Girl, Juicy Joe is inspiring the next generation, even if it's just his own! To give some context, Joe and Teresa Giudice were on The Real Housewives of New Jersey (look up the table flip on YouTube, it's iconic), but were later charged with fraud. They both ended up spending time in prison. Teresa wrote a book in prison that I tried to read, and Joe served 41 months before he was deported to his home country of Italy in 2019. Their daughter Gia decided to attend Rutger's University and study law. It was just announced via immigration attorney Kathleen Martinez's TikTok account that Gia will be joining her team as an immigration lawyer once she finishes her senior year. How fierce!! Gia is 22 years old and is already out there slaying it, looking stunning, and getting an education. We love to see it!

Why Ashton Kutcher Is APOLOGIZING to Harry Styles

This story is WILD. In an interview with Esquire, Ashton Kutcher revealed that his neighbor (who he says is a well-known singer, possibly the best singer alive) hosted a karaoke party that he and his wife Mila Kunis attended. He said that a guy went up and sang an ABBA song, and did a really great job. So Ashton approaches him after and tells him he's a great singer. It was not long after that exchange that Mila Kunis told Ashton he had just complimented Harry Styles! Ashton had no idea who he was!! She had to explain to him who Harry Styles was! I would die to be a fly on the wall when all this happened. I want to know whose house they were at. And I want to know who else was there! Did Ashton sing a song!? And was Harry Styles wearing a statement necklace during all this? Of course, he was.
