Grindr Fails: Fake Celebrity Profiles Are Not a Big Turn On

I mean, we all want to get laid. That’s why we’re on Grindr, right?!

However, if a hookup or a meeting is our end goal, then shouldn’t we at the very least show who we (kind of) really are?

I mean we all do what we need to do in terms of photoshop and retouching, but has totally catfishing ever actually worked at getting all the way to hookup?

It really doesn’t work if you’re going to post a photo not just of yourself, but of somebody world-famous. On this week’s Grindr Fails, let’s have a look at some of the best of the worst fake Grindr accounts.

If you’re going to say on your profile that you’re a pro-football player, it's best not to have the opposite information on all of your social media and then share it:

We’ve all lusted after The Rock but do any of us actually believe that he is on Grindr or that any of the guys we are chatting with look like him?!

Yes, Elijah Wood was/is cute, but we don't want to see a photo of him as a Hobbit when we're looking for a quick hookup with somebody...

However, we do have one celebrity hunk who apparently had a legit Grindr account.

Rob Lowe created one as a joke to promote his show 2016 show appropriately called “The Grinder”.

If only he was actually on Grindr…
