Leather, Kink, Sex Parties, & Disco Dancing: An Inside Look at CLAW 2021

Daddies and Pups and Bears, oh my! CLAW (Cleveland Leather Annual Weekend) arrived in Downtown Los Angeles, and damn was it fun and hot. The renowned annual leather convention took over the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles from November 24-28 (though the debauchery continued right up until check out time on November 29!) with educational classes, parties, speed dating, playrooms, a body spa, dinners, a full vendor mart, a Leather Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and so much more.

To try to capture or encapsulate everything that was offered and everything that took place would be too much, but here are some hot highlights for you. I arrived on Friday and walked through the vendor mart to find a vast option of leather and fetish gear, toys, designer poppers, art, clothes, and accessories. Shout out to MistrBear from Montreal, who did cool custom caps and pup masks that are well worth checking out. Soon, the Cybersocket team made it over to the JustForFans area, where a bevy of beautiful porn stars were on hand for some fun and photos.

For those looking for some hot times, there was no shortage of public and private parties. On Friday and Saturday, there was a pet play mosh for all the pups. Horse Market SF welcomed Mares and Stallions to their famed orgy on back-to-back nights. Throughout the weekend, The Hercules BDSM Playroom was a late-night hot spot to have fun or to sit back and watch. And as the sun went down so did the guys. For evening entertainment, there were any number of dance parties hosted by JustForFans in these big ballrooms, where you could show up in your hottest gear, dance with porn stars and leather men, and most likely get blown mid-dance floor. On Friday night, there was Testosterone; on Saturday, there was Dominate; and then Sunday, we danced disco into the night with the MISTER Tea Dance, sponsored in part by Cybersocket. Set on the pool deck, the party opened with a set from NYC’s sexy DJ Waly before Studio 54 legend Robbie Leslie started playing the greatest hits of the disco era. Dancing the night away with gorgeous porn favorites Ray Diesel, Colton Reece, Cazden Hunter, Chris Damned, and AJ Sloan was the perfect ending to the weekend.

And while CLAW sounds like a big fuck fest (and it was), CLAW is also a charity dedicated to fundraising, education, volunteerism and other charitable needs of the leather community. Normally, CLAW’s annual conference is held in Cleveland, Ohio and will return home for its 2022 conference April 28-May 1. See you there.
