Former Pro Wrestler Matt Cage Posted Some Double Date Selfies With His Dad And Their Boyfriends

Retired pro wrestler Matt Cage, who came out in a Facebook post in 2015, has more or less stayed out of the spotlight since leaving the ring behind. In a recent Twitter post, though, he got a bunch of people scratching their hands (for no goddamn reason, really), and now homophobes on social media just can't wrap their heads around it all.

Here's the short story - Matt's dad is also gay. He has a boyfriend. Matt also has a boyfriend, and they live in Chicago. That's literally all you need to know to understand this post from Matt's Twitter:

Awww... a double date!

While the vast majority of us can look at this as something that's admirable, cute, even downright adorable, some haters just gotta hate. Matt received over 11 thousand likes, 3 thousand retweets, and 3,000 comments - but, sadly, most of them were negative. Enter: the homophobes.

Matt responded to the hateful comments: "I love that some people are so ignorant or stupid, that they can’t wrap their mind around the fact that a gay man (or woman) can still have a child. As if the reproductive system doesn’t exist."

Luckily, there were still a great handful of people who came out in support of Matt's unorthodox, yet still loving, family.
