Calendar Cops 2007

When Horace Greeley (or John Soule, depending on which historian you believe) said "Go West, young man", he probably envisioned a further trek than say, Hoboken or Newark—but we're happy to have had to barely hit the turnpike in our quest for hotness thanks to New Jersey's "fittest and finest" who are lending their talents to the Calendar Cops 2007 project, proceeds from which will benefit crime victims. Twelve Garden State police officers are shown in their most "arresting" poses with nary a donut in sight, only "six-pack abs and more muscles than you can shake a nightstick at," according to the promo copy, even if a fleshy night stick or two would've been appreciated. We're paying special attention to cover star Patrolman Robert Shimonovich and Sgt. Dennis Hopson, who also happens to a well known bodybuilder-cum-fitness model. Maybe we can get them to show off their restraining techniques techniques in next year's edition? -RM
