A former soldier himself as well as a bisexual, perhaps Sinz learned of his willingness to engage in the gay version of hide-the-sausage during his stint in the armed forces. It's likely that's also where he learned to remain sexually aroused in spite of surrounding atrocities, as evidenced by his enormous, petrified boner—which refuses to falter even slightly—which rages on throughout the duration of his interview about the disastrous occupation.
