Because having just one musical act of hot daddies wasn't enough, there is now Unit-911, which claims to be the first. Oh snap, we smell a mauling coming on between bear bands!
A reader tipped us off to Unit-911, an English stud named Alfh who claims to be the "first adult musclebear musical group which reinforces masculinity and power." While we don't know whether or not he can back up his claims (there were at least those five "macho men" who came before him in the '70s), we do know that we love his single, dance track "Give It To Me" (no relation to the Madonna ditty), and the attendant music video.
Filmed partially in the Slammer sex club, it prominently features 911 and his unit while he snarls, growls, sings, and twirls a flashlight in a hallway while wearing only a jockstrap and a hat. If that didn't entice you into checking it out, how about knowing that the song isn't half bad. He may be more to look at than he is to listen to, but worse music careers (remember Jessica Simpson) were built on the same premise. Now, if only we can stop him from arresting Bearforce One.
