How Do You Advertise A Drug And Sex-Fueled Circuit Party?

New York's Black Party is one of the must-attend events of the year. It was last weekend, but the posters for the party are works of art to look at all year round.

The first one was shot by Robert Mapplethorpe back in 1981—and they haven't gotten any less dirty or artistic since then. Time Out New York rounded up the 29 posters for the 30 bacchanals (the first party was a two-day affair, so only one invitation) and they are all beautiful and provocative to this day. A favorite is the one Joe Oppedisano shot of Buck Angel a few years back.

As for the party this year? It was totally nuts! We were there, of course, as were tons of pornstars like Barrett Long, Rafael Alencar, Diesel Washington, Dean Flynn (in our favorite outfit of the night) and even Mike Dreyden and Damian Rios, who had simulated sex on stage and hurled "To the Last Man" DVDs into the shirtless, churning crowd of 5000 or so men.
