In his bisexual scenes at Amateur College Sex, Corbin Fisher had guys fucking girls without condoms but fucking guys using them. It seems like he has quietly reversed his policy. Now there are no condoms at all in bi scenes.
Thanks to Queer Me Now for pointing it out. While it's de rigeur for men to fuck women without protection in straight porn, in gay porn—and on sites like ACS, which features hetero action for a homo audience—condom-only is the norm. But, since female performers don't require condoms, of course their male partners don't want to use them, and it would look ridiculous to have a guy fucking a girl bare, but fucking a guy protected. For some gay men, this is going to make the scenes even hotter, but for others, it's going to be a huge turn off.
Fleshbot Crush Object Hall of Fame Inductee Arpad Miklos caused some controversy earlier this summer for doing a scene with a lady. Fans were just as upset that this gay star had gone straight-for-pay as they were that he did it bareback. Arpad's scene was for Jake Cruise's Straight Guys for Gay Eyes, which regularly has guys fucking girls without condoms. When that scene came out, Cruise's Cocksure Men simultaneously released a scene with Miklos and Rod Daily where both actors were protected, further calling attention to porn's double standard.
The bareback debate has been raging for years now, and, at least in the gay community, isn't going to go away. So, what is the best outcome of all this? While we're not going to tell companies whether or not they should force their performers to wear condoms, we would at least like them to be consistent within their company. If we're going to watch fucking, we don't want to spend half the time looking for that tell-tale latex ring at the base of a cock.
