Is Beautifully Filmed Sex Enough?

We watched the first part of Raging Stallion's epic new movie "Tales of the Arabian Nights" last night. The sets are amazing, the guys are gorgeous, and no expense has been spared in the production. So, what did we think?

It was a little bit boring, honestly. This is supposedly a follow up to the studio's biggest financial success and one of the most amazing movies in memory, "Arabesque." This one has a similar Aladdin fucks Ali Baba vibe, but maybe because we've seen it before it seems like a bit of a retread. And while the Raging Stallion press release would like us to think that that we're offered narrative vignettes for stars like Alexsander Freitas and Andre Barclay to start fucking, we see little of it. In two instances—the scenes with Tony Aziz and Dominic Pacifico and Angelo Marconi, David Dirdam, and Austin Wilde—we start with the models already in mid-fuck.

It seems the studio is a little bit a victim of its own success. After this year's "Focus/Refocus" and last year's "To the Last Man," we expect a little bit more of Raging Stallion. In these movies, we had all the same dudes and production values but with a story and narrative for each vignette so that the action had a little bit more meaning. Sure, most porn is just hot guys in pretty rooms getting it on, and the riotous fuck between Francesco D'Macho and Wilfried is a great of that genre, but because this is a six-disc extravaganza, we were expecting a little bit more.

Maybe our mind will change after we watch part two tonight.
