Two Pornstars Sort Of Retire, Then Unretire

Arty-farty zombie pornstar Francois Sagat and C1R star Jason Pitt seemed to be on the verge of leaving the porn industry this week, and we were utterly heartbroken. Thank goodness these guys have blogs to clear this stuff up.

Earlier this week we posted about an awesome behind-the-scenes video of Sagat's photoshoot with French actress Louise Bourgoin for the cover of the magazine Les Inrockuptibles. Our friends at The Sword were a little more industrious than we were and actually bothered to translate the website, finding out that they were (erroneously) reporting that Francois Sagat was not only retiring but had been retired for nearly a year:

Quitté le porno?! Sacrebleu! Luckily, Sagat is not one to let misinformation go unchallenged and he posted this rather simple but effective video explanation on the Titan blog:

Meanwhile, C1R star Jason Pitt is in fact retiring from…something. At the very least, it would seem that he's fed up with the industry. From his blog:

I no longer want to be in an industry that doesn't care. I no longer want to be the person that goes to events and watches other entertainers/models get plastered and high on drugs when they are supposed to be representing a studio, or even representing themselves… This industry is getting worse, maybe not in front of the camera but the behind the scenes and prep for porn production has gotten sloppy and not safe and I don't see anyone doing anything about it. Studios are using pretty much anyone that walks in off of the streets. More and more people that I know and are close to are turning up positive. I see very few models who actually have a plan for their future and it really pisses me off. So after my vacations and a shit ton of thinking and writing I decided that I cant hold off any longer. Little Big League 4: Grand Slam is my last movie, but wait there is a twist. On my birthday (December, 6th) of this year, Jason Pitt Inc. will launch. Everything is going to be completely different with my studio, but I don't want to spill too much of it before my birthday.

He goes on to explain that he's not leaving the industry entirely, and that he'll continue doing promotional work under the name of Jason Pitt. But as to whether or not his ambitions for starting his own production company will involve his performing in future scenes-only time will tell.
