Johan Akan Is Totes Gay on This French Magazine Cover

Mama always told us that you can't change a [straight] man, and unless you're behind the wheel of the Bait Bus, you probably won't ever see him doing any gay shit just to turn you on. Until now. We hope you're sitting down.

We've had a crush on French model Johan Akan for some time now. We've been following his career ever since that half-nude photoshoot with Catherine Deneuve, and our love grows more uncontrollable with every shirtless photo he tweets. We can't even tell you the noises that spontaneously lurched out of us when he finally did full-frontal this year.

He likes the ladies, but he is totally gay on the current cover of French magazine Les Inrocks. WE'RE DYING.

If we could speak French, we'd tell you all about the context of this photo. Much like Van Gogh, though, gay Johan Akan doesn't need an explanation. It's a freestanding, beautiful masterpiece. A French-speaking friend tells us there's some cheeky word play here, which is directly related to the country's current attempt to legalize gay marriage and adoption.

He says:

It [the cover] says "the left is putting its tongue in," meaning liberals are now more vocal in their support [for gay marriage]. It's a play on words with 'langue' which means 'tongue' or 'speaking out' in this case.

Honestly, though. We can't concentrate on political banter when Johan Akan is making out with a man.
