If you're used to getting your Sean Cody videos from pirate sites, you'll soon be out of luck. On March 24, Sean Cody announced that they have enlisted the help of Porn Guardian to get their content removed from the piracy ecosystem.
The Porn Guardian army searches the Internet for illegal content belonging to their clients and ensures the videos are take down from downloading sites, sharing networks, and tubes. To date, Porn Guardian says they have reported 8 million illegal files.
But pirates could have a bigger surprise coming. Many of the companies that employ Porn Guardian also use the information they collect to launch legal action. Sean Cody's anti-piracy director, Brad Peterson, told XBIZ: "We needed to find a company that could not only help us with getting our content removed, but one that could help us prepare bullet-proof evidence packages for legal proceedings."
All this means that you will not only find videos harder to find outside of SeanCody.com, but you could find yourself in court for downloading or sharing it.
