JJ Swift Raises Awareness, and Other Things

We all know that JJ Swift loves giving, but this time his giving is for a great cause.

JJ is participating in this year's AIDS Life Cycle, and he's raising money to eradicate this disease. Every little bit helps, and he's got a list of donor's names on his site, so it feels only right to give back after all he's given us over the years!

As background, this is my second year riding in the ALC. Last year was so great and amazing, I have to do it again. The support I received for the ride was simply amazing! As a rookie rider, the donations earned a spot in the 10k fundraiser club amassing a total of over $11,000. These donations were special not only in regards to amassing a dollar total, as that is trivial, but more importantly to help provided towards those living with AIDS and encourage behavior that decreases the risk of transmission. The numerous heartfelt emails I received last year leading up to the ride and over the course of those 7 days were extremely touching, and has propelled me to make the decision to ride again in 2014 and in future years to come.
