Is Cher Going To Be On AHS This Season?!

Before Lady Gaga, Britney, and Madonna, there was Cher. She's the ultimate gay icon with a career spanning over five decades, and she's not slowing down anytime soon. In fact, if our suspicions are correct, she may be just getting started... again. 

Rumors have been swirling that Cher, 71, could possibly make an appearance on American Horror Story this upcoming season. Earlier last month, the pop icon tweeted something that has had fans wondering ever since. Could she be on the hit FX series this fall?

It wasn't so much the tweet (although the timeline does make sense), but some of the responses that caught our eye.

A few weeks later, the 'Halfbreed' songstress replied to a fan who was asking about a possible tour when she decided to approach the question in a confusing way that just kept our suspicions going.

We all know Cher tends to speak in code when she tweets, and it doesn't always make sense, but something about her recent activity has us leaning toward these rumors a little. 

This was anything but solidified when a photo of Cher and the entire cast of the upcoming season of AHS was posted to Instagram.

In the pic, Cher is joined by her son Chaz Bono, Colton Haynes, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson and more. While there was no sign of her in this season's trailer, perhaps the whole point is to keep us guessing. Or are we just crazy?
