J Biebs’ Bare Buns Broke the Internet

In the latest installment of "My Ass Broke the Internet," Justin Bieber posted a sun-drenched and scandalous photo of his bare butt on his Instagram last week. Off the shore of some lucky island and on board some lucky boat, an even luckier photographer snapped a picture of Biebs pointing off into the horizon, a simple, "Look," serving as the only caption.

And we're certainly looking. Or we were, until the star deleted the photo from his account just short of one week after its initial posting. In the words of Robert Frost, "Nothing gold can stay."

One Butt, Many Renditions

Thirsty Beliebers everywhere reveled in this new view of Justin's 21 year-old bod on that fateful day, but many begged for more. A series of boot-iful Bieber photos titled #turnaroundjustin ensued, and countless new renditions of Bieber's backside were born. Some feature his bum alongside photos of his fans, while others include celebrities, cartoon characters, and our personal spirit animals:

Regardless of the Photoshop job, one thing is for sure: We were this. close. to getting a look at Justin's love stick, and the world will never be the same. 

An Ass Eternal 

Not even hashtags live forever, though, which is why Lego artist Iain Heath recreated the photo, ocean and all, using only Legos. The final product is pretty spectacular: 

Yes, this Lego adaption even has the correct tattoo placement. You can also find J. Bieb's bare cheeks on phone cases, T-shirts, and posters, in case you'd like your very own image to stare at while you fall asleep at night. (You know you thought about it.) 

So why did the glorious, glute-inous (see what I did there?) photo come down? Justin said a friend's young daughter follows him on Instagram, saw his butt, and was embarrassed. (To which I say what I always say—everybody has a butt. Sigh.)

J. Biebs, if you're reading this, I have a few questions left to ask: Where were you skinny dipping? Do you do squats? And last but certainly not least, did you remember to put sunscreen on your cheeks?
